We did this a few years ago when March Break blended with Easter. If I had seen this before booking flights, we'd be doing it again!

Orlandotouristinformationbureau.com offers a 4 night/5 day vacation at a villa at Calypso Cay Suites. THIS PROMO includes a 90 minute timeshare but c'mon folks, just watch your watch and leave after 90 minutes. Promo includes the resort plus 2 free Disney passes ( one day no hopper). We used these for DH and I and bought the kids tickets. Guess how much...............

$149.00 total. So for those who know the park prices, that's not even the price for 2 park tickets so resort is free!

I will qualify that we stayed at Floridays but it was the same deal. No hidden surprises. The timeshare part sucked but we kept kids with us and told them to make a fuss after 90 minutes. They obeyed on que!!! Our passes were given at checkin but had we missed our presentation, they would have billed us for the full value of the stay. Also, you pay in full when you book..

I hope someone finds this useful!

Great find....will definately consider this to add on for my stay after my cruise in May!

hahahaah I love it:thumbsup2! Hopefully, no timeshare-spokeperson-agents are member of this forum... they might get strategic ideas to go around it:rolleyes:

Unfortunately Calypso Cay Vacation villas has terrible reviews on Trip Advisor right now. It seems that their idea of a suite leave a lot to be desired! Also, there have been complaints regarding their definition of "Resort". Just be careful with these timeshare presentations. If they sound too good to be true, they usually involve high pressure sales tactics! :rolleyes1

I've sat through 3 timeshares. For sure not fun and you have to say no to about 4 people but c'mon.........$149 for free room and 2 Disney tickets.

I should mention that last time I checked, Sheraton Vistana Villages and Marriott were offering the same type of thing for a little more money.

You and your partner just need to handle the 90 minutes like an adventure. LOL. And bring whiney kids!!!

We have friends who went to a timeshare presentation for "free Disney tickets". They now own a timeshare that is costing them ALOT more than a few one-day park tickets. ;)
