Arizona Cardinals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Does anyone care? I am not invested in either team. If I watch, it will be more about the commercials.

I could care less! Just thankfull I dont have to work this year! :cool1:

The Super Bowl.......

That's hockey, right?

Was just at Pier One - they have some "super" "bowls" on sale today!

Ummmm...we're watching it. We've having a lovely little party for two... :teeth: Goooooo Cardies!

Thank god I'm not the only one in the USA who is not watching the game. There will be nothing but SuperBowl talk at the office tomorrow...none of which I'll be able to follow.

OK I'm not into sports, but I noticed the Cardinals are from Arizona. Didn't they used to be from St. Louis?

Yes, they did. Long years ago, I knew a wonderful old lesbian that lived in St. Louis. Her name was Georgiann. She was the mother that I wished that I had been blessed to have had. She passed away about 9 years ago. She loved her Cardinals, even though they had moved to Arizona.

According to the wife, about "fifty thousand years ago when the cave men were playing..." LOL. S'okay Mike, I would have told you the St. Louis Cardinals were baseball. :teeth:

Hey, the food part is fun. :teeth:

Wake me up at Half Time! :rotfl2:

So who is winning? Guess I would root for Pittsburg, I like the down trodden steel town thing!

The Cardinals have come back from being way down at half time and are now winning 23 to 20. There is only 2:24 left in the 4th quarter.

4th quarter is the end right? So that means I missed the marching band right? :confused3

Super bowl?

Was that tonight? :confused3

Darn, I guess I missed it.

Again.

For the like the fifth year in a row.

Maybe more.

:rolleyes2

Pitts has taken it. The game isn't completely over, a few seconds left, but they just accomplished a fumble on the Cardies, so they win the day. :(

Well, Emmett would have been happy. ::yes:: :rotfl: The wife on the other hand, is NOT. :scared:

Well, there was Bruce. He struggled though. Having a hard time signing. He pretty much "talked" the lyrics... fun to watch though. My brother was/is a huge Springsteen fan, and it sort of rubbed off on me.

One heck of a game overall. I'm not really much on football (don't understand much of it other than TOUCHDOWN!!) but the wife is. She grew up within a football family and they are all seriously into the game.

I'm a sideliner. Like I said. I do the party and food. :teeth:

Well, let's see...what did I do during the game???

An hour of yoga...and a bath with a fabulous sugar scrub! :)

...clearly football is a big part of my life!
