Super 8 at Lake Cecile

In Sept. of 2001, my DD's in-laws - as well as my son-in-laws 3 aunts -stayed there.. (We were all in Orlando, but the rest of us stayed at the Tropical Palms Fun Resort.)
Let me preface this by saying that my DD's MIL can be VERY fussy, but her FIL is on the "frugal" side..
They stayed there for 2 full weeks and seemed quite satisfied.. (MIL only complained once - about a cob web up near the ceiling and a teeny tiny spider..) It was just a plain, basic, no-frills motel room - but seemed to suit them fine..
The only concern I would have had if I were traveling without a man in the group is that their rooms were in the back (seemed kind of deserted) and on the ground floor.. Other than that, I would consider it, if that's what my budget dictated..

We now have 8 going so we dropped the Super 8 and reseved a 5 bedroom pool home in Kisssimmee. First time with www.vrbo.com, so far so good.
