Sunterra Cypress Point Villas without car?

Looking to take car service to this resort and just relax and swim for the week. Just wondering if there is a shopping center within walking distance? Restaurants nearby? Is it possible without a car? Do shuttles run from Cypress Point to any of the themeparks? We want to be closer to the slide pool...how does the Phase 1 villas compare to the Phase 2 Grand Villas? What does the slide look like...good for a 4 year old? Thanks

You should be ok for walking. There is even a Winn Dixie grocery store that appears to be within walking distance and if I remember correctly there is an ABC Liquor right next door to the resort. Cross Roads center is not really that far down the street (maybe 1 or 2 blocks walking distance) and has several restaurants (Pizzaria Uno, TGI Fridays, McDonalds & others I cant remember) and shops.

When are you going? I will be there April 18th-21st so if I am beating you there, make up a list of questions & I will be sure and try to get all of your answers & post upon my return.

from what I understand, Phase 2 are the newer models and also the ones that have been upgraded (according to a rep at hotelkingdom.com). Phase I has the volcano pool but both phases are smack dab next to one another and you should have no problems hopping pools without a long walk as this resort is not huge or spread out (I drove around it a couple times last month when I was in Orlando). It looked like phase 1 has 3 stories but phase 2 has 4 stories, I may be wrong tho.

The new Win-Dixie is directly behind the liquor store and across the alley from the resort. Nice deli and bakery.
