Sunset Safari

I've never heard of this before it was mentioned on another thread titled, "Not sure if AKL is the right choice?"

We've tried AKL concierge and did the Sunrise Safari, where we ate brunch at the Tusker house afterward in the Africa section of Animal Kingdom Lodge. Does anyone have more information on the Sunset safari where you eat at Jiko afterward? Is this new? (our last concierge stay at AKL was in November of 2003).

I know they were offering this in Jan. I believe it is around $150 pp. Do a search and you will find a lot of threads on the sunset safari.

You go around the savannahs at AK Lodge. Family style dinner at Jiko, max of 8 guests.

We did this in January - it was amazing! (we have it booked again for our December trip!)

You must be an AKL concierge guest and be at least 16 years old.

It is still $150 per person.

here are some pictures from our safari that my DH took...we had a cloudy day so the pictures are rather dark - but it was a GREAT experience...totally reccommend it! Let me know if you have more questions!
