Sunset Pointe

Hi everyone

So, I've been having a think... for those of you that know me.. I'm a UK Disney fanatic with no ring as of yet (lined up for next year in WDW, so he tells me ) but am obsessed with my Disney wedding so frequent these boards quite a lot

Now, I've been reconsidering the Wishes thing and am now thinking along the lines of a very small Disney ceremony with a big UK vow renewal & wedding afterwards so as not to request of all our friends to have to pay a fortune to go out there and see us get married. DBF agrees.

However, the only place that I'd want to get married at such an intimate setting would be Sunset Pointe at the Poly. I just love the idea of the castle in the background

I was looking in Carrie's book and the maximum number of guests is 8, 10 including myself and DBF. We would be 12. Would this be a massive issue with DFTW?

11. Mother in Law

That really is as low as we could get it. Has anyone heard of any flexibility with SSP guest count? In the back of my mind, I'm thinking, surely it wouldn't be an issue as it's only 2 extra people and we are well below the Escape guest count but I know what Disney are like?

I think they are very strict on the guest limit i'm afraid.

They won't budge. With your guest count, you'd have to book an Escape, which means that location won't be an option I'm sorry!

If you want the castle visible for your wedding, the WP does provide a great view of Cinderella Castle! Just saying... I wouldn't be able to get married at WDW without that castle being close by.. It's my favorite thing! So much so that I have a tattoo of it on my ankle

With an Escape, you can have a few more people too!
