Sunscreen with new security: Advice please!

I think the easiest solution would be to pack the sunscreen in your checked bags, and carry on the sunscreen wipes. They work rather well, and would be fine for the day, then just use the lotion the rest of the trip.

Youre 100% right. Why is there a need to carry-on sunscreen? Pack it away in your luggage with all your other items. No Disney prices. Problem solved. :confused3

Does anyone know where I can buy the sunscreen wipes? I have not seen them in my local Sav-On, Target or WalMart. I have only found them on-line, and I'm afraid they would not arrive in time (we leave Wed. night)

You can also send some items to the resort before you go. I never carry things like sunscreen in my carry on anyway. Just use a large zip loc and place things like that in your checked luggage.

I'm more worried about valuables than anyway right now.

Don't overthink this so much...you can pack all you will need of any item not allowed in your carryon into your checked bag.. Pack a day bag for your first day needs and pick it up at baggage claim. Since we never know what time ME will deliver our luggage we should be doing this anyway. It's only one bag so you won't have to wait too long at baggage claim.
Your on vacation, don't stress so much over it...

I think this'll be my plan. I'm going to pack a small bag of checked luggage with the stuff we need upon arrival (sunscreen, water bottle holders, Pal Mickey, etc.--stuff that was going to be in dd's carry on). I'm not going to put ME tags on that 1 bag. I'll claim that bag myself and will let ME get the rest of my luggage. That way, I'll have in hand what I need when we hit the parks on our arrival day.

Does this sound like an OK plan? How long does it usually take for your luggage to be in the baggage claim area??

I would apply the sunscreen on before you leave for the airport and throw it into your checked luggage. Then use the wipes as needed the rest of the day until your checked luggage is received at your resort.

I've only found them online as well. Why not order them online and have them shipped to you at the resort? You (and they) should arrive at about the same time.

If the rules are still in place in Feb. I'm planning to pick up my own bags from baggage claim.
Remember - it is not only sunscreen. I wear contacts, I'll want to touch up make up, brush teeth, deoderant, etc...

Do you have a short flight? Lather him up just before you check your bags with a long lasting sport sunscreen?

I am with the people that say pack a light bag and check it without the ME tags. That way you also don't have to carry everything with on the carry on you are actually taking on. I mean, you have to carry entertainment, everything for a day at the park....etc. I think that sounds the best solution. We are getting in at 3:30 in Orlando so my guess is we won't get to the park till 5:30 and we are gonna be shopping and stuff so not too much time in the sun!
