Sunscreen for infants

Avoid Water Babies!!!!! It is terrirlbe. We have had more outings ruined by applying that junk. I put it on my own face once and it really does sting. We use Bullfrog because it stays put. Have also used zinc in a pot before but it is difficult to find, it is the kind used especially for tattoos! LOL Definitely put it on their hands and faces...why shouldn't those parts burn as easily as any others? In fact, the skin on your lips is the most sensitive of all. We have tried the stick sunblock but you have to use a LOT of it to cover all the skin, and the children do look rather strange, all pasty and white all day. We have some funny pictures from the years we used zinc sticks.

I am also a big fan of the Water Babies sunscreen. Use at least a 45 SPF (all year around, not just summer), and re-coat every few hours. Don't forget a little above the eyes on the lids and ears. Also, the sunblock sticks (like Chap-stick) . . . I think Hawaiian Tropic makes one with a high SPF for the lips.
