Does anyone know of a good sunscreen for hair/scalp? I bought one a few years ago but haven't been able to find one since. My hair is light in color and fine so I tend to burn my scalp. I don't really like to wear hats because they make my head hot:rotfl2:!

This may not be the solution you are looking for, but we use our regular sunscreen on our parts on our scalp. We have used both liquid and sticks. If your sunscreen is white, it will stay white but that's what we do.

Us too:)

I saw several different scalp sunscreens at our Walgreens and target. It's a new fad, and I'm happy about it! I too have suffered scalp burn and it hurts! I recommend looking at the options and going with the brand you like.

A lot of companies that make baby sunscreen also make (or made, not sure if they still make it) scalp spray. I think Baby Blanket is the scalp spray that I used to use on my kids. My youngest is now 7 so I haven't bought it in quite a while and don't know if they even still make it. Neutrogena used to make one too.

Thanks I'll keep checking around! My hair tends to be oily so I don't want to put something in it that will make me even more greasy! : )

Pretty much all "scalp spray" products will make it look greasy. If your hair is thick enough not to burn through except at the part, what I recommend is an Ocean Potion Dab-on Stick.

The formula is clear, not oily, and you can put it exactly where you want it. My hair is thinning a bit on top, so I also wear a wide fabric headband in the parks and while swimming.
