Sunrise Safari

I think I already know the answer to this, BUT...

Is the Sunrise Safari only available to concierge guests at the AKL? I'm staying with a group of 6 at the BCV, and my DH is very interested in the safari!

Sorry to bear bad news, but you are right: AKL concierge guests only.

You only have to stay there one night to take part in the safari, so if he's that interested, you could transfer to AKL concierge for one day the night before the safari.

I believe that there is another safari that is now offered to all Concerige guests. If I remember correctly, the main difference is that it doesn't include breakfast. However, I can't remember the name of the safari.

This requires that you stay on Concierge level. BCV has no concierge level.

While you will not be able to do the Sunrise Safari or the Wildlife Discovery Excursion, there IS a tour that anyone age 16 and up can book at AK. It's the Backstage Safari Tour, which is listed as a 3 hour "walking" tour, but let me assure you, there's more riding than walking! It will give you access to behind the scenes areas that not even the concierge safaris have access to!

I loved this tour and it's on my list to "book again soon"! (and a ride, with stops for pictures, is included!)
