Sunrise Safari questions

Hi All,

I thought I had read somewhere that the Sunrise Safari was only being oferred once a week but of course I can't find tht info anywhere anymore.

So - can someone please let me know if the Sunrise Safari is still being offered on Saturdays and Tuesdays? Are you still required to stay at least two nights? Does anyone know the most recent prices? Is the breakfast still included?

My hubby and I did the Safari last time we stayed at AKL Concierge and loved it. We are hoping to stay there again in December possibly and I want to book our stay accordingly.

The FAQ quotes a price of 39.95 and the review says 49.95 -- and both say it included breakfast at Tusker House.

Hi.,

We just did the safari last weekend... I do not think there is a minimun night stay but I heard rumours they were thinking of starting a 2 or 3 night stay policy to participate on the safari.

Tuesdays and Saturdays are the days and I recommend choosing the Tuesday one as DAK is busier on weekends ~ for enjoying the park after the Safari, Tuesday would be quieter.

We've done the Sunrise Safari twice, once in December 2001 and once in December 2002. I suggested it to DH when I snuck us into concierge in 2001- and he enjoyed it so much that we did it again last year.

In fact, by special request (and the AP rates), we will be doing it again this December, too!! We've already booked it, and DH is just like a kid counting the days until we go.
