We are looking into renting a 6 bdrm villa rental in Sunrise Lakes in Clermont for a last minute trip this Presidents Week.. I just wanted to get some input from anyone who has stayed here - or lives nearby. Where is it in relation to all the disney parks? I've heard its 10mins away and then someone else wrote 30mins. Is it way out of the way? We got a great deal for a 6 bdrm for just $125 a night and it seems too good to be true. Any help would be appreciated!

You are fairly close to the junction of 27 and 192. My best guess is that early in the morning (park opening) it will take you about 10-12 minutes to get to the Sherbeth Road shortcut and then an additional 5-10 minutes to get to the parks (depending on which one). Here is a map with Villa locations.

Here is a map of 192:

After you scroll down to the bottom of this map, you will get to the link to the next map that shows the Sherbeth Road short cut on the left. There is a new toll road, the 429 beltway that may even get you there quicker, I have not tried it yet, but heard it is a good route. You can see it on the first 192 map.

I have stayed out on 27 in the other direction (about the same distance) and we always planned on a 30 minute commute, but it was always way less than that. The location you are in is good for the Super Wal Mart. There is a Publix on 192 and also one on 27 south. We like to stay on 27 because we save lots of money on a villa and it is still close enough to the parks not to be a hassle.

I think you got a good deal on a 6 bedroom home. We are paying about the same amount for that same week over in Windwood Bay. Good luck. Please post a review when you get back.

This is a map that will show where Sunrise Lakes is and the shortcut to Disney. It's the red line but it shows it from Windsor Hills. You won't need it till it crosses 192. Sunrise Lake is #95 .

If you had to choose between Sunrise Lakes and Liberty Village - what would you do?

I am sure either choice would be fine. I really like being closer to the west end of 192 though. I stayed on the east end of 192 and I just didn't like it as well. I am not even sure why I didn't like it as much, but I didn't. That being said, if I found the right place, for the right price, I would stay over there again. One advantage of being closer to the east end of 192 is that there is a Krispy Kreme donut shop there and I LOVE those donuts. :)

The link I am posting will bring you to a thread that discusses another community, Terre Verde. The reason I am posting it, is because that community is close to Liberty Village. Part way down the thread different posters discuss quick routes to Disney. If you go with Liberty Village, the directions may be helpful.

Good luck.
