Sunrise and Sunset in Fla. ?

Up here in the northeast sunset is approx. 5 pm., is it the same in Florida?

I guess it depends where you are. Last winter a friend and I took the kids to the beach. We were still sitting there at 6...a little darker than dusk at the time, and her husband was complaining that it was pitch dark in CT. LOL!
