Does anyone know when you use these company to transport you from the Airport to the hotels (for us SOG) - you have to pay in full when they pick you up? I guess I'm a little worried if we dont we wont be picked back up to go to the airport.....lol.....


Any recommendations or suggestions which company to avoid?

I have used Sunray Transportation several times over the past 3 years. Yes, you do have to pay in full when they drop you off at your resort, but they have never left me stranded either. The driver will give you a card that serves as your receipt. On the card is their phone number and also pick up date and time. My driver has always been there to pick me up at least 10 minutes before the stated time.

I have used Tiffany and FL Tours both several times. I haven't had any issues at all. Both require up front full payment. I divide the tip and pay half when dropped at the resort, the other half when I get returned to the airport. If a company had complaints, especially via an internet forum, about not honoring round trip fares, they would be in serious trouble. These boards, the DIS as well as many others, give out recommendations for many companies in Orlando. If a few people start posting about less than satisfactory service, a lot of people are going to see it and react.

We have used Tiffany a few times & like the OP stated, you have to pay up front - I've always paid by credit card at the time of booking the reservation. I also give 1/2 the tip in cash to the driver taking us to the resort from the airport, and the other 1/2 in cash on the return trip. I have had 2 different drivers, so that's why I never give the whole tip to the 1st one.

Quite awhile ago we did use Tiffany, twice to be exact, first trip they were okay, second time not so okay. Heard they have changed hands and service is spotty. This past september we used Sunray, first time, used them from Kissimmee train station to WL, with a grocery stop, we required alcohol too. This company is a class act, on the way we stopped at Publix with a liquor store right next door, we were in and out of both in 20 minutes. We paid up front, tip and all, our driver was a co owner, new surburban SUV, always had engine running and AC, professional all the way. We will always use this company for our trips, no sense looking for cheap cause thats what you get, cheap, we'll stick with Sunray from now on.

We used Sunray this July and they were great! We did pay the amount in full when they dropped us off. They were there 15 minutes early to take us back to the airport. Clean SUV, really nice drivers, prompt, and on top of that, a really reasonable rate! Enjoy your trip!
