Sundown Mingle--Still Doing It?

I'll be at Jambo House next week!
I called Member Services, and they know nothing about the Sundown Mingle. And I have not received an invitation yet.
Anybody been there recently and know if this is still being offered?

I am curious about this, as well. We arrive at Kidani a week from today, but I have not gotten an e-mail about the event.

Honestly, I am not really sure how we would fit this in, between MVMCP, the merry mixer and trying to get to HS and Epcot for evening events.

The "Mingle" is put on by DVD Sales. You should contact your Guide or the sales office to verify if it's still being put on.

The Sundown Mingle was offered on Monday and Wednesday when we were at AKV during the week of November 11, 2012. You can sign up for the Mingle at the DVC kiosks in the lobbies at Jambo House or Kidani Village.

The Mingle lasts about an hour. Some appetizers and drinks are offered, and a $100 gift certificate is awarded to one member selected at random. Although the Mingle is put on by DVD, it is an extremely low keyed sales event.

All of DVD's events are low key, that's the magic of the Disney brand.

The reason that I mention who sponsors these events is that contrary to what many members believe, DVC doesn't sponsor any events, they are all sponsored by the sales folks. The reason that the event is at AKV is because that is what DVD is actively selling. Last year they had events at BLT, in a year or so they will have them at GFV.
