Sunday in Anaheim 1/27 Side ways Down Pour!

It is raining buckets!! And Windy! The rain is blowing side ways! We went to a Vacation Sales Presention to get $100.00 disney dollars! YaY!! Now we can go to Blue Bayou!

I'm worried my ECV won't take the rain. And will break down in the Park!! Does any one know what to do about that??

You got $100 for DVC!!!!! Wow. We got a $50 gift certificate in September and thought we made out.

Are you renting the parks ECVs? If so, ask them what happens if it breaks... If you're renting from an offsite place, they would know. And if it's yours, well, I just don't know, but I bet telling the CMs sweetly what happened might get you good things, or at least sympathy while you rent one of theirs.

Sorry about the rain. We got some of that here in the desert last night, but it's partly cloudy here now and the wind has died down, it's just chilly. Hope things clear up for you before you have to leave so you can enjoy some more of the park. That's cool about the $100! How long was the presentation, and did you end up buying anything, or did everyone who at least listened get it?

NO! NOT DVC, it was Shell vacations, it was 90 min. We didn't buy.
I was just greedy when they offered the disney dollars. But it was a pretty good deal. Got to go get dryyyyyyy.

I guess its a good thing we postponed our trip today. My sister couldn't understand why I didn't want to go when she listed the weather forecast this morning

Wow, that's cool, too! Were they a big hard-sell? Man, if someone had approached me for that I would have done it...

Shell...they had an office in the city we lived in, had the office for a few months. Then one day it was just gone. Seemed fishy! But if they give out disney dollars, how absolutely horrid could they be?

It was super soft sell. Except for the you an only do the good package today stuff. But our guy made it really easy to say no. And as soon as you were done saying no, you got the $100.00 of Disney Dollars. Which Paid For my Husbands Birthday Dinner at RainForest. Although I wish we had gone to Blue Bayou instead the atmosphere would have been better. Oh well, live and learn!!

We did the sideways rain thing on the Jungle Cruise Sunday night to make sure we got it in before it went down for rehab on Monday. We also did Nemo as the wait was not long. I was really surprised how many people stayed and were walking around in the rain because it was really down pouring.........and I know my rain..........I am from WA.

We had a great time Sunday evening in the park. We were able to ride Big Thunder 6 times in a row from the second to last row without getting off, it was fun. Everybody who did walk up wanted the very back row so we made out.

godalejunior - I did that ride in the sideways rain, too! The canvas top poured it load of rain right into my bag! There was a small part of the zipper that didn't zip because of my camera bag. Luckily that morning I had pushed several tissues into my bag and they soaked up the water that got in thru the zipper!!

Is that the one on Harbor by Dennys? They approach me constantly. I guess now that I know you are allowed to say NO and it's pouring I would consider doing it. How did you use the DisneyDollars at Rainforest?

We did that and ended up buying into the Explorer version of Shell. Basically we purchased XXXX amount of points for XXXX amount of dollars. It did take us more like 120 min. instead of 90 but maybe that's because we did buy in. Once our points are gone we won't be buying more....we haven't been impressed so far. We did love the $100 though!!
