Anyone heading out on the Wonder this Sunday for the 4-night cruise?

We are. My DH, and three DS(8 & under) & my mother-in-law. I can't wait. It's my first Disney Cruise. Have you ever been on a DLC before?

Hi ike - Delighted to hear you and your family will be on the cruise. You can look forward to a wonderful experience!

This will be our 3rd trip on the Wonder and we're just as excited as if it were the first. If I may be of any help to you or you would like to meet to say "hello" just let me know.

Bon Voyage.

Myself and my two nieces - ages 13 and 8! We are swimming with Dolphins on Monday in Nassau and cannot wait!!!!!!

I'll be on the cruise with my DS(16) and his friend(16). It's a 16th birthday present.

I hope that there are other teens on the cruise.

We're going on the dolphin swim too in Nassau. I think our check-in time is 1:00.
Otimon-thanks. I've been reading the disboards for a couple of months, & it's been GREAT. If I think of any last minute questions, I'll let you know.
I checked the 10 day forecast yesterday. 75% in Florida, 80% in Bahamas. I'm so excited!!! I'm freezing here in New York.

My wife, 5 yr old DS, 3 yr old DD and I will all be there on Sunday too! This will be our first Disney Cruise, and this is most excited we've ever been about a vacation. My wife and I have learned so much from this board and are very appreciative of all the wonderful people who contribute to it. The weather forecast looks great, and we're ready for a magical and fun cruise.

That's the same swim time we have (1 pm)!!!! Are the three little ones going to swim? It will be adorable to watch them interact with the Dolphins! Between your group and the three of us, we probably make up the "swim" group at that time. I understand they have an "encounter" at the same time.

I have the location where we sign in, for the boat ride over; but, do you know how to get to that location from the cruise ship? Is it walking distance?

They gave me the following information-
From the ship dock, you can take a taxi or a ferryboat. Taxi's are located right outside the cruise ship and the ferryboats is a five min. walk from the ship(behind the straw market). Inquire directions from your excursion manager on the ship if needed. If taking the ferryboat, tell the captain that you are going to the Dolphin Encounters and once he docks at Paradise Island, he will direct you to us.

I was going to ask the excursion manager which way is easier.

I am doing the swim with my 6 & 8 year old. Since my 3 yr old is too young, he will do the encounter with my husband. However, I requested the encounter after the swim ( so my DH can watch)
We'll see what happens.

I'll look for you on the boatride over.
