Overcast/ Sunny/ rain showers at night.

Did a little different plan at AK--usually run to be Harembe and safari ride first and usually first thing in the am. This time arrive a little later--11a past the parking toll booths. Dino-Land first, over to Asia: Everestt was down while in area? Also, noticed many more people headed toward exits than other way? Kali Rapids FP with only a 45 minute delay--so over to Asia Trek in shade to stroll through. With FP, quick walk onto ride. Over to Africa/ Harembe--got a FP for Kilimanjaro Safari ride--another only some 45 minute delay--so took train ride with no disembarkment at station. Walked on ride with half-way decent spieler--although gave mis-information: free food for wine/ food festival coming up in November at Epcot? etc. Thinking been to AK all different times of the year and probably the least crowded we have seen. Over to Lion King show--seems a little revamped since last time with gymnasts monkeys really star of show.

Since staying off property this portion of vacation--we got to eat at Rainforest Cafe and at what we wanted.

Over to Epcot--little more threat of rain--again lot more people leaving than entering. Sparse park other than then plus hour wait (stand-by) for The Land and Soaring--even at about 5ish no FP available--no tickets available.

Over to World Showcase: Enjoyable tribute to Chicago band at America pavillion. After show rain came--not pouring though.

Seemingly many Europeans here this week. FLA/ southern US kids back to school today. But seems most of the visitors are from Europe and mainly from England--sometime seems we are in WDW-Europe/ London.

Anyway update for now

We are from DC area so for sure wasnt any warmer --it was overcast a lot of the time as well which kept temperatures down as well. And I think it thunderstormed basically each day for a short while as well.

Hard to notice the weather when dashing from one A/C building to another. We like Disney in January, but 3rd year in a row in August and nice once at least Florida kids go back to school in mid August.

We park hopped and visited Epcot later and little crowds other than for Soarin and the other Land ride--like an hour? We were glad to see Tribute Series (I think it was last show) and we saw the band emulating Chicago that night.

Rainforest always fun (although very noisy) and nice break between parks
