Sunday 8/28 or Monday 8/29?

Hi all.

Getting so excited as we are slated to leave for DLR a week from tomorrow. Going over 'final' plans after seeing the schedule for entertainment/shows on the days that we're there. We will be hitting the parks for 5 days - 8/24 - 8/26 then taking Saturday off (have tickets for Warner Bros Studio tour that day), then the plan was for BEACH DAY on Sunday the 28th followed by two park days - 8/29 and 8/30 before heading back home.

Does anyone think it would be a better idea to go to the parks on Sunday 8/28 instead of Monday 8/29? The main reason I'm asking is that the park hours are SO SIGNIFICANTLY reduced on Monday. I realize the crowds will be higher, but not sure if the extra hours would make up for it. On Sunday, DL is open 8:00am - midnight...On Monday, 10am - 9pm.

Do you think 5 extra park hours is worth tweaking my plans and braving additional crowds on Sunday? Or would you stick with Monday and reduced crowds if you were me?

TIA!

Personally, I would rather go during a lighter crowd day. It just makes the whole experince that much better.

If it was the beginning of your trip then I'd say yes, go for the longer park day, but since this will be the end of your trip you may appreciate the shorter hours so you can sleep in a bit, have a nice breakfast and take things at a slower pace before going home. Sounds like a great trip, have fun!
