Sunday 3/25 wait times are incredible

They’re so short for a weekend before Spring Break. At 7:00pm, space has a 40 minute wait and still has fastpass availability. Toy Story is only 20 minutes.

Is this because Deluxe pass holders are blocked out today/Sunday which is unusual? I’m a signature pass holder and purposely booked our trip for next Fri-Sat because Deluxe and below was blocked. I’m hoping the threat of AP blackouts and peak pricing makes a difference.

We experienced something similar last 4th of July week with the Deluxe blackouts. I also saw on Touring Plans that they expected a higher crowd for the similar weekend(s) last year but they ended up less crowded. Could this be the new strategy?

It was pretty amazing in Disneyland today. The lines were very short and crowds were amazingly low. We even ate at the French Market at 12:30 with absolutely no line and with plenty of available tables. That has never happened to us (this is our go to for lunch). Pirates was down for a few hours and Indy went down for a bit and it was still relatively quiet. We even rode Alice with a 5 minute wait in the middle of the day. Fastpass return times were relatively quick and everything was available still in the early afternoon. We hopped over to CA to ride Guardians after lunch because fastpasses were still available.

I will say getting from the parking structure in to the park took 45 minutes pre opening. Not crowds in the structure, but the crowds outside the park is getting bigger and bigger. We were in line by 8:40, but it took 20 minutes to get in!

Sundays are usually pretty light in the mornings, but it stayed that way all day it seems. Not sure why, but we'll take it!

I'm due to arrive on Tuesday, so I'm sure the crowds with be thick! LOL. During some of my summer trips Sundays would be pleasant and Mondays would be crazy busy. Crowds are unpredictable. But I'm hoping your easy touring extends through the week.

I was supposed to go today with my friend but we realized at the last minute she was blocked (Deluxe). Super bummed we couldn't go, sounds like an amazing day!

We had an awesome day today and basically hit all the headliners through rope drop and max pass. We managed Space Mountain, star tours, buzz, Matterhorn, Snow White, Alice, Toad, Indy, tarzan treehouse, thunder Moutan, train ride, Pooh and lunch all before noon. Took a midday break for Wondercon and a nap. Then was able to max pass radiator spring racers, guardians, and Soarin. Also did some rides in Cars land and bug land.

Hope tomorrow isn’t too crazy! But since we got so much done today, we aren’t planning to rope drop.

We were in the parks 3/20-26. Fri/sat we were out for Comic-Con. We meant to go sat but I let DH talk me into switching for Monday. Monday was hell! Aka Ca spring break. ;)

What a difference spring break makes. Never again! We are having fun but wow are crowds thick. I have been in July many times and it was never this crowded.

A lot of local schools aren’t even off until next week, too, it will get worse!

We went to the parks Sunday, Monday, Tuesday night, and Wednesday of this week. Crowds in Disneyland were too much for me by midday on Monday and Wednesday. Fortunately we were able to get so much done on Sunday, we didn't feel that we missed much on the really crowded days. Max Pass worked very well for us and I think we used more fast passes than we would normally for WDW.

We found Friday and Saturday Seemed less crowded than Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday were. I wonder if people thought “go on a weekday, it’s less crowded“. Max pass was absolutely required, and we were effectively able to ride everything we wanted without excessive waits.

It was California school spring break Monday on...
