So how bad will this day be?

I have to go to LA for business and was considering flying in early that morning to see the decor etc. at Disneyland? Will it be impossible???

Sunday mornings are my very favorite time at DL! If you can be there right at opening, you will have the best possible experience.

We were there yesterday and it was very enjoyable.

Generally speaking, if you can arrive within the first hour of opening (8-9am), you'll get to see/do a lot. The park begins to get crowded around 11:00 and for the rest of the day stays at moderately crowded levels during the holiday period.

Since it's the Sunday after Thanksgiving, I would expect heavier crowds than other Sundays, probably closer to Saturday crowds, which are heavy but not impossible (nothing like in the summer).

We are planning to go this Sunday as well, and we avoid the overly crowded days at all costs, so that is some insight for you.

Get there early!

Thanks everyone!

I will not be able to arrive at opening. I am actually flying into the area that morning.

I think my big concern is the "leftovers" from the Thanksgiving weekend. I am afraid it's going to be SUPER BUSY as it's the last day of a holiday weekend.

It's not a bid deal if I don't get to ride a lot. I really want to see decor etc.

We'll be there but we'll probably spend most of the day at DCA.
