The Disney Dining brochure says that ice cream sundaes can be ordered as snacks under DDP. Is there any limit on this.? For example, if we go to Beaches and Cream and order a Kitchen Sink, is that covered? Can we combine say, 4 snacks for one KS? Alternately, can we go to Wolfgang Pucks at Downtown and have the kids order just the make your own sundae and count it as a snack? Just wondering.

No, the Kitchen Sink doesn't count. Usually, "snack" credits can be used for items like pretzels, cookies, water, etc that costs less than $4. I don't believe you can combine snacks for a more expensive item, either.

To answer the second part, of your inquiry, I don't think you can do that either. Ther are however quite a fwe places where you can use snack credits and quite a few things you can get with it.
One exception is that you can't use it for candy at a gift shop, but you can use it for candy at a resort food court. the guy at teh gift shop said there was a way to have the food court convert it for me, but that's far more time then I want to spend dealing with it. We found the list of snacks that were covered to be quite extensive.

No snacks are generally items under $4.00 and you can't add them together for a more expensive item
