Should I buy it here or when I arrive?

Ive read lots of threads about this and everybody say's to buy from Walmart or such like. (cheaper)

I've bought our 'general' wear suncream here. But decided to try buying waterproof one (for waterpark days) when we're our there - in the hope that it's more waterproof than ours!

We normally buy 1 bottle here, then buy the rest there. I tend prefer to buy it from Florida as they have sun most the year so they must know what they are doing! And it is cheaper!!

We tend to take ours with us, especially for DS as you know there will be no problem with it.

I've always taken our's with us, but I think in future I'll take the E45 one for our DD's and buy the rest when we get there

I like the soltan once from boots-so i take it with us.I like to know that what i use does'nt irritate them+this would worry me if i was to buy over there+it did'nt agree with them.x.

If you know you'll be going shopping the day or day after you land then it's probably worth buying it for you and DH there as it's so cheap and good quality

I discovered 'No-Ad' on a trip to Florida a few years ago

I really like it and managed to find it in our local 'Wilkinson's' where, surprisingly, it was cheaper than in Walmart etc as it's half price

We always take ours with us as there is a particular brand we like. Also don't want to spend the first day trailing around looking for suncream.

I suppose as we generally have stayed in a villa it suits us to buy when we arrive as I go to Publix as soon as we have unpacked.

Less weight in your cases and Publix sell Australian Gold which is just the best product available in my opinion.
Smells great too.

Personally I would buy out there.

If you are able to use any make or brand then i would so get it over there because it might be alot cheaper

We always take our own with the understanding that if we run out (which we never have - I always take plenty) we will buy some there. If you are thinking of buying yours when you get there be sure to take at least one bottle with you as the sun is very hot and can easily catch you unawares before you manage to get to the shops. It would be a terrible start to your hols if you get sunburnt on your first day.

We buy p20 from the airport - it's amazing stuff. One application lasts all day even if you go swimming (though we do sometimes top up just in case!). We have never got burnt since we started using it. Never used to see it in this country but places like Boots now sell it but it is a lot cheaper at duty free.

we buy tyhe spray cans in walmart- no rubbing it in-just spray it on!
Banana Boat is the brand we use, its made in Florida

I usually use soltan once, but we ran out on our April trip and bought some Austrailian gold from Walmart and it was great. My dd has mild excema and was fine with it, and as a bonus it smells really yummy too.

A vote for BullFrog 36+ Once a Day Sports Spray from me. You can find it in Walmart and Publix. Its so good we have even ordered it from the US to be shipped to the UK - it beats anything on sale here.

i PARTICULARLY like Coppertone water babies in an aerosol - very easy to apply on the children.
