Does anyone bother to get one of these? We were in the wrong lane, Sun Pass only, at our very first toll from the airport and could not get over. We got charged the .75 cents, plus a $25. admin fee(31.05 Canadian). You can get a Sun Pass mini for $4.99 and get a credit on it for $4.99 once it is activated. You can't activate until you have a licence plate number.

This looks cool. Has anybody actually used it? So you buy the transponder sticker for $4.99 and get $4.99 in credit - then what? Does it link to a credit card and bill whenever you go through a toll? Can we link a CDN credit card? Can you just add funds to the account and have it work on a prepaid basis?

Lots of questions! But I HATE stopping for tolls so this might be worth looking in to!! It's not even the monetary issue but the fact that I NEVER carry cash and always get panicky as I pull up to one worrying about having cash on hand.

Was the admin fee from the toll authority OOCEA, Orlando-Orange County
Expressway Authority, or the rental car company?

Mini Pass sounds like a good idea.

The letter cam from Alamo, I called them and explained what happend and they reduced the fee to $15. That is better than $25. Very understanding customer service, had a lot of similar calls. $15. is their minimum fee. I am going to check into the Sunpass mini for next trip. I think you can link it to a CC., but not sure if it alerts you to a low balance.
