I dont quite understand how you purchase the £9.50 ferry crossing etc? Iv tried reading up on it but just cant seem to take it in. i dunno if its because im at work so finding it hard to concentrate or what lol but if anyone coudl break it down into simple terms would be so helpful!

also it says about a family ticket, do u have to use it as a family ticket, i mean i dont have two kids so would prob just be me and my friend going if we did go. would that matter?

I used it last year, it was just my dad & I (my mum doesn't do the day trips) You collect the tokens & send off with a cheque for the £9.50 & dates you prefer to travel on the application form printed in the paper, as stated some dates are dearer. You then get a voucher which you exchange at the ticket booths for your passes. They do mention that in the unlikely event they can't match any of the dates chisen they would contact you to see what they can offer.

Others did this & organised different transport (you pay extra but £9.50 for upto 4 passes is a good deal). They also had options to stay in hotels for extra last year so would imagine they will do the same this year.

Terms and conditions
1. Readers must collect 10 differently numbered tokens from the Sun's editions published between November 19 and December 9, 2011. No photocopies will be accepted. Proof of posting is not proof of delivery. To qualify for the free family ticket voucher, Readers must purchase a ferry crossing from Consort Travel, for travel with PO Ferries, available from £9.50. The £9.50 day trip offer is limited to the first 92,500 correctly completed and received application forms.

2. Offer applies for departures from January 9 2012 to March 28 2012 (excluding February 11, 12, 18 and 19) based on an outbound ferry departing from Dover between 00.01 and 06.40 and a return ferry departing from Calais between 20.40 and 01.40 (next day) for travel within 24 hours. Travel outside of these hours may be arranged for a supplement starting from just £30 per car. You are requested to indicate your 3 preferred departure dates, which will be processed in order of preference. In the unlikely event that we are not able to allocate vouchers for any of your 3 preferences, we will contact you to discuss alternative dates.

3. The £9.50 price applies for all Monday and Tuesday departures January 9 to March 27 2012 (except February 13 &14 when the price will be £29.50). All other days and dates will be £19.50 (except February 15 to 17 when the price is £29.50).

4. Payment can be made by cheque, debit card or credit card. A charge of 2.5% applies to all credit card payments.

5. The closing date for receipt of applications is strictly close of business on December 23 2011. We will not be able to honour applications or tokens received after this date. Documentation required for travel and the Free Family Ticket Voucher will not be issued until all 10 differently numbered tokens and the full payment have been received. Application forms that are incomplete may not be processed. Tickets and ferry crossing choices at the promotional rate are subject to availability.

6. Only one application for this offer per household will be valid. Multiple applications for this offer from the same household will ALL be void.

8. Consort Travel is a trading name of Leger Holidays Ltd, which is fully bonded with ABTA (V3582). All bookings are subject to these full Terms and Conditions and to Consort Travel's Disney Sun Deals Booking Conditions which can be found at www.disneysundeals.co.uk where specific provisions are not provided herein. No bookings will be taken at the Disneyland Paris parks or the ports.

9. Once processed, the applicant will be issued with a voucher for the Disneyland Paris family tickets and a separate document for the P&O Ferries crossing and any additional hotel upgrades.

10. You will receive a confirmation of your booking by e-mail or post within 21 days of your application being processed. Your Free Family Ticket Voucher will be dispatched by post a minimum of 10 to 15 days before your departure date together with your booked ferry times. Do not contact The Sun, P&O Ferries or Disneyland Paris regarding the Free Family Ticket Voucher processing and/or allocation of ferry times as they will be unable to help. All requests must be addressed to Consort Travel (see clause 7 above for contact details).

11. No liability is accepted for applications, tokens and/or Free Family Ticket Vouchers lost, damaged or delayed in the post. Consort Travel otherwise accepts liability relating to the proper performance of the offer according to its booking conditions as detailed in clause 8.

12. No refunds will be given if you are unable to travel.

13. Any other costs, including fuel and toll charges are not part of this offer and shall be borne by you.

14. Offer only applicable to new bookings for both Disneyland Paris and P&O Ferries. This offer may be withdrawn without prior notice.

16. This Free Family Ticket Voucher entitles the named individuals on the front, who are included in the indicated combination of adults and children, to a 1 day park hopper pass. This voucher does not grant you access to the Parks. You will need to present this voucher at the ticket booth at the entrance to either Walt Disney Studios Park or Disneyland Park with photo ID matching the name on the voucher such as a Passport or Driving License. You will then be issued with Park entrance tickets allowing access to both Parks for the day of your visit. Tickets will be allocated for one specific day and date. Tickets cannot be exchanged or used on any other day or date under any circumstance.

17. Only original vouchers will be accepted. Vouchers with deletions or alterations will not be accepted.

18. Free Family ticket vouchers cannot be reissued for additional dates if the allocated date is missed.

19. Any additional Park passes booked as part of this booking will be covered by separate documents.

20. To qualify for the Free family ticket voucher, you must have the following family make-up: a) 2 adults and 2 children; b) 1 adult and 2 children; c) 1 adult and 1 child; d)1 adult and 3 children; e) 2 adults and 1 child; f) 2 adults and 0 children. Adults are aged 12 years and above at the time of travel, children are aged 3-11 years at time of travel. Infants aged 0 – 2 years at the time of travel are admitted free of charge. Any additional adult or child outside of the above combinations in your party will need to purchase a separate park pass from Consort Travel at a supplement of £43 per person (for both adult and child).

21. The Free Family Ticket voucher is not transferable, and is valid once exchanged at the ticket booth for entry to Disneyland Paris only, and has no cash value and will be VOID and invalid if transferred to parties other than the applicant.

22. There is a €15 per car parking charge for all cars visiting Disneyland Paris, unless you are staying at a Disney Hotel.
23. Disneyland Paris reserves the right, in their absolute discretion, to refuse entry and to close and/ or alter all or any part of the facilities including closure of ride(s) and / or attraction for any reason, including over capacity.

24. Size, height, weight, age restrictions and medical warnings apply to certain rides and attractions.P&O Ferries Terms & Conditions

25. If your ferry crossing is between 20:05and 04:40 (Dover-Calais) and 23:25 and 08:50(Calais-Dover), P&O Ferries 'Lite Nights' service will apply which means there will be limited onboard facilities

26. Offer based on standard car length of up to 5m long and 1.8m high. Maximum occupancy of the car is 8 passengers.

27. If we are unable to offer your preferred P&O Ferries time within 2 hours either side of your preferred choice we will contact you with alternatives. All ferry crossings are subject to availability.

28. If you fail to travel on the outbound ferry then your return ferry reservation will be cancelled.

29. Any cancellations will incur full loss of monies paid. Amendments to ferry bookings may be possible but will incur additional charges.

Overnight Stays and Coach offer
31. This offer can be upgraded with Disney Hotel nights. The Disney Hotels included in this offer are: Disney's Davy Crocket Ranch, Disney's Hotel Cheyenne, Disney's Sequoia Lodge and Disney's Newport Bay Club. 32. Where the number of persons sharing a room exceeds 4 persons or where more than 2 adults share a room outside of the family combinations shown in clause 20, then a supplement of £43 per person is payable by the extra persons (adults and children).

35. Travel by coach is available on selected dates from over 61 local joining points, subject to availability, for a supplement of £55 per person.

36. Travel by Eurostar is available on selected dates from London St Pancras, Ebbsfleet and Ashford direct to Disneyland Paris, subject to availability, for a supplement of £69 per person.

just one quick question that i don't quite understand from the T&C
If you book an over night stay do you have to pay the £30 to get the ferry the next day?
contemplating this as a 2nd trip to DLP next year but am a little confused by that

use the SUN deal for the cheap day hoppers and then arrange travel & accom yourself

we went in Feb half term this yr. Used tesco deals for eurotunnel and then got the Adagio for a good rate on Expedia

Hoping to book for March this time round for a wkend trip

tickets are £19.50 ( up to 2ad and 2 ch) but still a fab bargain on dayhoppers for 4 people!!

this is exciting!
iv got 3 tokens so far! am planning to go with my friend january.
we are prob going to stay one night at santa fe hotel and buy extra park ticket so we've got two days in park.
so excited to be able to do this as wouldnt of been doing it if the sun deal hadnt come along! yay!
