summer weekends v. weekdays

Are mid-week crowds lower during the summer like they usually are during the "off-season"?

They're lower than weekends, but not like in the off-season in my experience. It's the difference between Spring Break packed and Sunday packed during the normal year, if that makes any sense.

I equate summer weekdays to Saturdays during the rest of the year.
