We'd picked the 7am breakfast slot for each day so we would be able to get into the park for EMH, I also prefer breakfasting early as it's very quiet at this time with no need to queue for either food or tables.
Once in the parks we treated ourselves to some Christmas decorations, then took Fern to Salon Mickey for a snack
before watching the Character Express
and visiting the Dragon under the Castle.
Today I was overjoyed, first of all to see The Sleeping Beauty Fanfare play on Central Plaza
then to find The Dixieland Band on Market Street.
The sun had now come out and it turned out to be a really hot day. We sat outside Plaza Gardens and ate some yummy Ben & Jerry's icecream, then it was time for our Guided Tour. There were seven people on the tour, us five and a Dutch couple. Our tour guide was a very pleasant lady called Adeline and the tour was very good. I'm really glad we did it as even though you may already know everything, it's great to be able to discuss it with another Disney fanatic!
We went over to the Blue Lagoon in the hope of seeing Jack Sparrow but unfortunately he didn't show.
However Fern enjoyed looking round Adventureland and had her photo taken in a very apt place!
Then it was time for our meal at Walt's. We were lucky to get a window seat again and enjoyed watching the parade.
Bryan and I both had caesar salad to start
for the main course, Samantha had chicken caesar salad (identical to our starter but a bigger serving and with chicken, of course)
Danielle and Francesca both chose the burger and fries from the teenager menu
Bryan chose the gourmet burger with twister potatoes
whilst I had the grilled beef sirloin with bernaise sauce ~ best steak I have ever tasted .... mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
For dessert Danielle and Francesca both chose the banana split
Bryan had apple crumble
whilst Samantha and I both chose lemon strawberry cheesecake.
After our lovely meal, we decided to have an early night so strolled back to the hotel leisurely, browsing through the shops on the way ~ of course!
