Can anyone reccomend a good shapmpoo to use after a lot of swimming? In the past we had used one form Paul Mitchell but I can no longer find it. The kids spend quite a bit of time in the pool and this year DD will be at a summer H2O camp for 12 days.
I have looked at the shelves in Target and Walmart and have not found anything.

I've seen several shampoos in the drugstore. Most likely they will be listed as a "clarifying" shampoo.

Some of the storebrands can be very harsh.

My cousin, who is a hairstylist, recommended ISO Pure Cleanse to me many years ago. I use it because I have so much product buildup. I can use it everyday on my highlighted hair if I want with no problems. Some other brands I've used have been ROUGH on my hair.

Anyway, the ISO is sold at beauty supply places that might be in your mall. It's not even very expensive for a salon product.

I get the Sauve swimmers shampoo for DD. I've also had good luck just taking a palmful of regular shampoo and added in some baking soda. It really helps get the chlorine out and it's cheap.

We use Ultra Swim, and I would whole-heartedly recommend it. It works beautifully on DD's baby-fine ringlet curls, so I'm convinced it will work on anyone's hair.

And as far as I know they still make it... I ordered a 4-pack from Amazon a couple of months ago.
