Summer Reading.

Do you have any summer reading to do?

I have to read Anne Moody's "Coming of Age In Mississippi" for Honors American Issues. I haven't gotten any other letters for the rest of my classes so IDK if I have any more reading to do.

We are reading "A lesson before dying".

It annoys me.
I don't care if it was on Oprahs bookclub list. So far its boring and not worthy of my time.

I'm reading Oliver Twist (I'm a Freshman! I was going to stop because I'm confused, nut mom said I'm getting it, so... I'm reading it! ) My teacher will be impressed!! I'm also going to read The Hobbit.

I'm reading 1984, Wicked, and A memoir by Stephen King.

So I probably sound TOTALLLLLLY lazy, but these books were the only ones that sounded good. But I plan on using sparknotes for my essays. This is for Honors English II.

We have to read the play Antigone (which my 13 year old brother read for me & he's telling me all the details about it!).
Then I chose A Long Way Gone & Kite Runner.

Kite Runner was such a good book! If you end up liking it you should read Khaled Hosseinis' other book, Thousand Splendid Suns. It's even better than the Kite Runner.

But I will neve read The Kite Runner or A Thousand Splendid Suns. Other than no interest in it, I know most of the plot and know it would break my heart completely in two, I'd lost faith in humanity and probably become the most sadistic person ever. No thanks.

I would totally die if we got to read Stephen King for engrish.

I feel so slow, I'm in the 11th grade and just finally getting into honors courses. I turned them down for 9th grade, and then I got sick, so now was my first chance to go back in. What's AP exactly? Isn't it college track?
