Got an email on Facebook... not sure if it's new news or not but thought I would share.

Finally, today the Walt Disney Travel Company released a new Walt Disney World summer room rate discount. For stays between June 4, 2010 and August 14, 2010, Walt Disney World Guests can receive between a 25 and 40% discount off regular "Rack" rates. You must book by March 27, 2010. Rates are not available for all dates and resorts.

Here are the respective percentage discounts:

* Save 25% at Disney Value Resorts when you stay 1 or more nights
* Save 30% at Disney Moderate Resorts when you stay 1 or more nights
* Save 35% at Disney Deluxe Resorts when you stay 1 or more nights
* Save 40% at Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts when you stay 1 or more nights

Isn't that GREAT news??? I was super excited and called to discount our already existing reservations and got almost $600 off! Every little bit helps!

I just got a notice from them on Facebook, too, but mine said that they were extending the gift card promotion through 8/14. Good news for summer travelers!

Don't you think it is interesting that both promotions were extended to August 14. I'm guessing bookings are down for the summer. Sure wish they would start free dining earlier this year to compensate.

I thought it was very early myself....was not looking for offers until the end of March. Hmmm.....if they did offer free dining, we would SO jump on that and give our 30% room discount BACK!!
