Summer offer coming

Is that a cruise ship? Can’t tell, or the Contemporary. 😂. I don’t know. If it’s cruise related, not going to excite me. Free dining? Already have a room discount that I was happy with. Hopefully whatever it is will make some people happy.
It's Chef Mickey. Wouldn't be surprised if it were a dining promo...

Like others have said, it is for WDW. The post itself mentioned WDW and not a cruise. This is just for the Visa Rewards card like others were mentioning receiving an email a few days ago.

Last year, Disney dropped other promotions at the same time so hopefully they do the same this year as well.

I hope we get info on the dates ahead of time. Wondering if they will include some spring dates for room only promos, or just summer? The current spring ones are not great.

For free dining, do we get it the whole time as long as we check in before it ends? IIRC that's how it used to be but the last time we had FD was in 2018, so I'm sure it's changed

ETA: I checked my email and this was in an email I received. It looks like it's early access for cardholders until March 26. The email wasn't from Disney or Chase and there wasn't a link to click to access it

Get a FREE dining plan when you purchase a nondiscounted 4-night, 4-day Walt Disney Travel Company package that includes a room at a select Disney Resorts Collection hotel and a theme park ticket with a Park Hopper option—for arrivals most nights from:

  • June 29 to September 30, 2025
  • October 20 to November 1, 2025
  • December 6 to December 22, 2025

It might be interesting for some, but it seems like nothing when you have to buy a non-discounted 4 night stay with 4 day park hoppers. That's a lot of money for free dining! You could do cheap dining by bringing snacks and water bottles.

Was hoping for more.

I'm hoping for room discounts as well-they pulled the August discount, they should bring something back for rooms-I agree, you have to purchase tickets and hoppers, that is a lot of $. If they offered it, that you just needed to purchase the room, I would consider it, but we don't need tickets for all the days-Finger's crossed!

You save more money getting a discounted room rate then you will with free dining at full price

For my husband & I at a deluxe resort room discount is better for sure. But for some families with more people staying in a value resort, free dining might be better. Especially if they planned to get tickets anyway. Everyone needs to do their own math.

It depends. Staying at a value with a party of 4 in which you usually eat mostly QV anyways? Definitely cheaper than the typical 15-20% off you get, unless you can eat for less than $50 a day for the whole family.
In my case, I have a reservation at All Star Sports, for 10 days, with 6 days of tickets. I took advantage of the "Stay Longer and Save More on Rooms" promotion and got a 15% room discount. Me, my wife and 2 children. Total: USD 3,800.

With the Free Dining promotion, the total amount would be USD 4,600.00.

In other words, I will pay 800 more. It would be 80 dollars per day, so that the 4 people have 2 meals each day. Which would come out to 10 dollars per meal. In my specific case, I think the free dining is better than room discount.

Yes, if you only plan to eat QS and snacks. We usually stay at deluxe or mod and do a lot of TS, and don’t order full meals (sometimes just app, sometimes sharing), so it’s not a good option for us.

It really depends on where one is staying and how they want to eat while there.
