Summer Nightastic

Hi All, Was just curiuos as to when Summer Nightastic starts, does anyone know? I went over to the Disneyland website and didn't see any hours or dates so was just curious. Was planning on a Halloween trip but have always dreamed about being there on my actual Birthday so just curiuous when they start. Thanks in advance.

I guess it depends on what you want.

The new parade starts on May 26th commencing with double parades on that date. May 27th shows the fireworks show Magical starting. Long summer hours are expected to start on June 3rd. Also the weekend the new attractions open.

When will the special summer banners go up in the Esplanade? hard to say.

Thank you, looks like I will be going August 11-15 so it should be well into Summer Nightastic hopefully and since going over a weekend hopefully will catch both WOC and F.

With your dates, I would feel confident Summer Nightastic! will be in progress based on late year's dates.

Summer Nightastic is almost 100% just a marketing theme. So if you just called it plainly Summer Season then it would be the same except they do a variation on the fireworks. No RDCT which to many is a problem, they run Magical, which has not just Tink flying overhead but Dumbo too.

Disney will also tell you that part of Summer Nightastic is the opening of Little Mermaid, Star Tours 2.0 and Mickey's Soundsational parade. But in reality Disney aims to open new shows and attraction at the beginning of summer. Not an off season date like Feb 4th anyway. So you could call the opening coincidence.

It's what Disney refers to as the summertime entertainment offerings at DLR like fireworks, Fantasmic!, etc....
