So is anyone thinking of having a summer job this coming summer? If you are tell what it is and why you want to do it. And what would be your dream summer job? I will probably apply for a job running game stands at a park near me. My dream job would be to be a ride op at sf great adventure.

Wow, its October, and we're already planning next summer! I'm probably going to do what I did last summer: volunteer at Ft. Monmouth.

Actually I got this thread from a different site and I thought it would be cool. So I just decided to post it now.

I'm already planning for June, looking at dresses for the end of year dance.

Anyways, I'm not allowed to get a job next summer as I babysat this summer and did nothing but complain and missed a lot of my summer those first few weeks. So I'm going to enjoy next summer, and then I'm getting a job after my first year of high school.

babysitting all the kids im already sitting

and

going into the summerhire program at my school
where i could get a job either at the BX/mall place

or in the grocery store (commisary)

yay! i want to get one next month after i turn 14 but idk if im gonna be too busy or not im in a lot of clubs...

I was a CIT (counselor in training) this summer at a theater camp. And if I do it again this coming summer, which I'm pretty sure I am, I'll become a regular counselor. I really love my job. The kids are sweethearts, the pay is great (but that's not the important part :) ), and it's theater, which is my love.

Edit: I just went on Nitro *points to Nascar48's signature* for the first time on Monday. I loooved it!!! And I went on El Toro, which is my new favorite ride. Sorry to threadjack.

I'll probably wait tables. I can make a lot of money fast that way.

I can't get a job this year because I am in 10 clubs and volunteer at the library every week. Maybe next summer. Everyone either works at the grocery store or Cold Stone Creamery. I am not extremely intersested in working in those places though. The Library wouldn't be too bad.

Yeah. I'd love a job. But this year, school is stressing me out way too much.

My dream job is to work at a movie theater, but there aren't any close enough to where I live. Once I get a car, then I have to pay for gas, so I don't want to waste my paycheck on the commute to my job. So I'll maybe work at one of the stores in out little shopping center in town.
