Summer Concert Series Question

One tiny question about the summer concert series.

This will be my first concert at Universal since I went to Grad Bash a couple of years ago.

On the site the Universal park is set to close at 9:00 p.m. The concert is set to start at 9:00 p.m.

Does the park stay open only for the concert. Such as the rides not being operated. Or are the times listed wrong. The park is set to close almost every sat at 9:00.

Now, I have never done a concert at Universal before (Nelly on the 18th will be my first! ) but I would assume all the rides, places to eat, and all the shops will close at night. Of course, I would assume they would also keep the shops near the front gate open to get those last minute sales, but I do not think anything else will be open since (based on the park hours) the park will really be closed. They just have to have the concert start late because the sun does not set until around 8:30.

Yep, all the rides should be closed.

I think most restaurants will probably be closed before then, but I am sure they'll have some carts open nearby.

Monsters Cafe might be open since its located right across from the stage area. I know it was open during Mardi Gras and these concerts will likely bring crowds as large as the Mardi Gras concerts.
