Summer Challenge...

I would like to have a good dent in my weight loss by the first day of summer which is June 21st. So its basically a 3 month challenge.

With the possibility of earlier trip to Disney and Florida to visit family than I thought I would so love to atleast get back into my pre-pregnancy size by then so I have all my shorts and clothes to wear. I have about 30 lbs give or take 5 pounds to fit nicely in them. 24 would an atainable goal but I'm still shooting for that 30 lbs mark.

I am working on exercise. I want to make it part of my lifestyle but problem is my life style has changed recently with my 19 month old dd going into her big girl bed she gets up and come and climbs in bed with us early about 6 to 6:30 recently but we go back to sleep. I guess maybe I can get her eating her breakfast while I do my workout videos. Since my trial gym membership ended I'm finding it harder to find my motivation to exercise but I will be doing Walk Away the Pounds(i have the 3 mile dvd) and Tae Bo. I have some other VHS workout videos but gotta have dh hook up the vcr that was given to us so I hope it works alright. I have a stability ball and free weights I will be doing a 25 minute toning/lifting workout I got on self.com.

My goal other than 25-30 lbs weight loss is to exercise 5-7 days a week and to drink 8-10 glasses of water a day. And eat healthy foods which can be hard since we are on strict budget and some of the healthier choices are rather expensive. Next week I will start journaling my food on fitday.com watching the calories and nutrition content and try to cut back my calories to 1800 calories a day or so. If I get my business moving more this month and next month I will possibly join weight watchers again I did 40 lbs lost in 20 weeks there without exercising so I know its possible for me to lose weight just doesn't seem to budging.

Im just royally sick of having very few clothes and they are all wearing out. :sad2: :sad1: I refuse to buy more when I know I can just lose a little and fit in my closet full of clothes I used to wear before getting pregnant.

Update 4/2:
For a timesaver in event of recent happenings in my life I have converted to this easier chart as far as updates go. I'm sure everyone understands. :) If everyone could do the updates in total lbs lost out of goal such as ?/goal it would be very helpful. ;) Thanks a bunch for understanding. :)
 
I'd LOVE to join a summer challenge. My 9th wedding anniversary is July 19th & I would love to be at least 160 by then! That would be a nice gift for DH, LOL!! I am 193 now & this is the lightest I've been since I met DH 10 years ago. But I need all the motivation I can get! :banana:

Editted to add, by 6/21, I will set my goal at 170, & 7/19 at 160
 
I'm all in for a summer challenge! I still need to lose between 25 to 30 pounds for my goal and would like to do it by your June 21st date. :sunny:
 
I would like to join too. I have been slacking off for the last couple of weeks. Today I finally made the commitment to get back on track. I would like to lose 20 pounds by my 10th anniversary in June.
 

I'd like to join your challenge too. My goal will be to lose another 20 pounds by Memorial Day weekend. That is 72 days away -- a little over 10 weeks. 2 pounds a week is sooo hard for me, but I am doing several 5Ks and have been working out pretty faithfully, so hopefully, I can do it. Then I will try to get another 5 by the first day of summer, which will be another 25 days.

Oh, and congratulations on Zoe's "graduation" to a big girl bed!! Awesome at 19 months!
 
I'm in for the Summer Challenge. I will set my goal at 15 pounds but I will try for more. :)
 
Woohoo :cheer2: I got my morning workout in. I did my 3 mile WATP dvd. :cool1: My dd was still sleeping but woke up at the end and came out and was dancing right along with me. :rotfl: I had to take a quick minute away to get her milk and cheerios but its better than no workout.

I will also set a goal of 30 pds by June 21st but would love for it to be more.

I have just joined a gym and am walking to Disney so that along with good food choices I should be there.

Count me in. I have my BIL's wedding in FL on June 25th, I would love to surprise my family by being 30 pounds lighter!
 
I am in for the summer challenge as well... Looks like that is 13 weeks away...
I am going for 20lbs by then.... thanks for the challenge, it is helpful to be accountable for our actions!

Can I still join in?? I'm just finishing my first week of WW and would love to have a nice goal to work toward. My goal is to lose 30 pounds by June 21. I want to exercise 4 times a week. And I want to go outside and play with my kids everyday (weather permitting). Thanks for setting this up--it is an awesome idea to start nice an early, summer will be here before we know it.
 
I would like to join in also. I will strive for 20 lbs. by June 21. Hopefully I can have it all lost before my next trip to disney on May 29.
 
Sigh. I haven't had much luck with the challenges, recently. I did lose five in January, and promptly gained them back. I've lost them-most days-again.

l don't want to set myself up for failure, so I think that I will set a goal of 15 pounds. Thanks for the clippie. Wish I knew how to make them. You guys are so talented!

 
Count me in I got 30 to lose as well........ I have a trip planned to disney last week in april, I would like to lose half of it by then.

Count me in too!! Dh and I are going to Jamaica in July for a early 15th anniversary trip :cool1: I started my weight loss plan Jan 27 and have lost 8.5 so far but I would like to lose another 16 - 20 so put me down for 20. I've been slacking a bit these last couple weeks maybe this will help me start back up! :cool1:
 
My goal is 30.2 pounds by June 21. I'll officially start counting for this challenge on Sunday at my WW WI.
