"Summer Break" 2012?

I saw on TouringPlans website that June 30 is "Summer Break". Does anyone know what they base the date on? Last year it was a week earlier. Don't the Florida schools usually get out early June? Confused.

I'm about 2 hours west of WDW and June 8 is our last day of school.

Pure speculation here but I think its a combo of an average of thier US visitors major school system breaks (norther schools get out mid-late June) and when the more popular international visitors summer breaks start (Brazil/South America).

My kids get out in 2 1/2 weeks, May 18th here in TN.

We get out Thursday, May 24th, but I think that's pretty early. We also go back early in August
