Summer 2019 - what a bummer

We are headed to the world end of August , and I am wondering the rationale of Disney choosing to open everything at once in the fall. This includes SWGE, Mickeys Runaway, the Gondola system, the new Space restaurant, etc. Any of these by themself would draw big crowds and resort bookings , and the fall is usually always jam packed as it is with festivals , parties , etc. I would also assume that offering free dining so early the summer leads me to believe that summer bookings are soft . Did it dawn on Disney that maybe accelerating one or 2 of these attractions would bring the summer crowds as well ??? Kind of bummed

Interested too . I thought the gondola and maybe runaway railway were to open sooner at first ???

I'm going in July.
I'm happy nothing new is opening in the summer.
I'm glad they anticipate lowish crowds in the summer therefor offering FD because I want low crowds.
I believe the reason they are offering FD early is because they do expect it to be low crowds plus then they don't "have" to offer it in the fall when they already k,ow it will be insanely crowded regardless of discounts or lack there of.
I know there will be a next time so I'm not crushed that I won't be able to do the new things my next trip.
Only things I'm even looking that forward to is the skyliner and Space 220 but I'll experience them in 2020.
Plus if I were to wait until fall would mean I miss seeing Illuminations.

I am perfectly okay with all the fall openings. I haven't been in summer since 2000. I typically do spring break in March. I'm looking forward to our summer trip this year where the crowds will be "lower".

They are already testing the gondolas so I'd say there's a decent chance they may open in August. I mean if Halloween is in August then it's gotta he a possibility.

We are going in late September and I would be perfectly happy to miss anything new opening - I picked that time of year bc I was hoping the crowds would be low!

Ok except for the gondolas - since we're staying at CBR that's the one thing I would be ok with opening by then lol.
