We have only cruised once and stayed in room 8602. We loved the room, but don't want to limit ourselves. Should we try a different Cat 3 room? Are Cat 2 rooms worth the difference in price? How many people does a Cat 2 room hold since we are considering taking my mil with us? If we go with a Cat 3 what are the best rooms to request (pros and cons)? Thanks in advance for your help!

I'd say try another Cat. 3 -- perhaps one of the larger ones mid-ship (8032, 8034, 8532 or 8534). I believe these are the Cat. 3's that have the murphy beds in the living room vs. the bedroom. Having only stayed in a Cat. 2 I do not know what the price difference between the two is. Cat. 2 sleeps 7 people -- 2 in the master bedroom, 3 in the 2nd bedroom and 2 on the sofa in the living room, although I think it might be too small for 2 adults. We are a family of 5 and it was very comfortable for us. HTH
