Suitcase name tags?

Hey everyone...

I was wondering what everyone puts on their suitcase id tags? I admit I'm a bit (lot  ) paranoid about putting my home address on there so I was going to use my work address. I tried searching the TSA website to see what/if there are any regs about this but couldn't find any...does anyone know if this is allowable?

Thanks!
Christine

No home address or address at all Just phone numbers a cell or works and home . This way they can check if lost . The airline already has your address on file if they have it somewhere.

I also put that same info in the outside pockets as well incase the tags get ripped off.

And I think TSA doesn't require a tag at all from all my travels because it's not suppose to be out of your sight until it's checked to a TSA or CSR for the airline

Thanks for the information. I haven't flown in over 15 years...a lot has changed since then! :)

Also put a copy of your itinerary in your luggage so they can contact you while you are away from home.

I usually put my name, cell phone number and email address. I used to put my PO box address when I had one, but do not put my physical home address.

I will put my hotel address on the tag on the way out, but never fill in my home address until I pack to return.

I put my business card in the address slot. I also throw a few business cards in my luggage. My cards also include my cell phone and e-mail address. On a trip awhile ago, someone actually took my carry on bag and called me before they called the airline. It was a weird situation, but it all worked out. All black carry ons look the same. I now tie a blue checkered ribbon on all my bags and no one takes them anymore. :thumbsup2
