Apologies if similar threads exist, I've had a search and can only find advice on taking packed lunches into Disney World rather than out of Disney World.

So we're going to be spending two days outside of the Disney bubble during our upcoming two week trip so that we can visit Universal. We'll be on the DDP and my wife came up with the idea of using some of our snack credits to accumulate some food suitable for a packed lunch to take there with us.

Now comes the question of what snacks would be suitable. We'll be staying at AKL so will have access to a fridge to store perishables overnight (or potentially longer). We'll be spending the day before at Epcot for the 1st day and DHS for the 2nd day. So anything we can grab there would be convenient if any of you guys have suggestions.

The obvious stuff is grab and go chips, cookies, sandwiches etc. but looking for suggestions of anything a bit more out the box / less obvious that I may be missing.

Any thoughts?

Fruit, water, muffins are about all I can think of that does not require refrigeration.

I remember eating earl of Sandwich food in the universal parking lot. Can't remember why.

Imagine it was a similar thing. Lots of DDP credits and so popped back to our car (where we'd left the food) after a day in the park, before going for drinks in citywalk. No idea why we didn't take the sandwiches somewhere nicer to eat.
