Im sailing on a 3 day 12/9/04 and 4 day 2/13/05 with my DDs and Familys. Do we need to pack suit coats or jackets for Dinner or can we go in with just a botton down shirt and tie. Trying to cut down on packing, but heard Tritons you need to be a little dressy. Need to make sure DSL brings what he needs coming down from upstate NY. 4 weeks and counting:bounce:

My husband took his dress coat because we were going to Palo's. To cut down on packing a button down shirt or polo would do just fine. We saw a little bit of everything while in Triton's. Enjoy your cruise.

We did the 3 day in April - most of the men in Triton's dressed as my DH and 2 teen-aged DSs did - a nice collared polo or golf knit shirt and dress slacks or khakis. Some wore a button down shirt and tie, but most did not. Very few were in jackets. My DH and sons did not feel out of place at all. We were also trying to keep the packing to a minimum, as we did WDW prior to the cruise.
Wear whichever you are most comfortable in - you'll be fine.

If you aren't going to dine at Palo, you can just use shirts and ties on the 3 and 4 night cruises. That is one of the things I like about the shorter cruises versus the longer cruises; less stuff to pack!

We went on the 4-nt Wonder last year. DH wore a shirt/tie to Palo and Triton's. We didn't want to pack a suitcoat/jacket either. He would just take it off and hang it on the back of the chair anyway!

In both Triton's and Palo - there were people dressed a little fancier and a little more casual.

Somehow on our 9/9 Wonder I managed to pack my DH's suit coat and no pants, so he ended up with no jacket. We had Palos reservations and he was still fine there with a tie and no coat. We didn't see too many coats at all, anywhere.

We're on the 2/13/05 Wonder too!

I don't think we'll pack my husband's sport coat either. Seems like a shirt and tie will do. I'm looking to make brunch reservations at Palo, so a shirt and tie should be fine.

See you in February!!!

The 3/4 night cruises are much more casual. Even though Triton's is supposed to be dressier, there are many people there in either dress shirts or "golf" shirts. Cut down on your packing.

What about for ladies in Triton and Palo?
Pant suit or Jacket with skirt suit okay? or even
more casual than that?

As far as the ladies go - I wore dress slacks and a nice top and noticed most other women did the same. Some were much dressier - but they were the exception.

We did not eat in Palo's, so I am referring only to Triton's.
