"Suggestive" Thread Titles...

I just hit the homepage, and the thread generating the most recent traffic is "Erotic Nights Out in Orlando".

While I am hardly a prude, don't people realize these threads are viewable from nearly anywhere on the board? I would be embarrassed if any of my young family members visited "The DIS" and that was the first thing they saw...

All this makes me wonder what Disney's take on "adult" themes being posted on a site inspried by their parks would be...

I know what you mean, but I am not too sure Disney would care, if that were the case, they would probably step in and settle other debates here on the DIS for good (i.e.,Mugs, the fact that there csr can't be depended on to give correct info), Not to down play what you have posted

Disney stood by their teenage star who sent out naked pics of herself. They also stood by Miley Cyrus after the hoopla over the arguably soft-porn pics.

Since they're okey-dokey with all that, I'm guessing they'd be fine with anything on the DIS.

I think Pete holds the site (and its posters) to higher standards than Disney holds its company (and stars.)

Alot of the time "suggestive" thread titles dont actually have anything suggestive behind them though (i'm not saying this thread is an example), I personally I dont give them any thought.

While that post definitely got my attention a few days ago......enough for me to click on it, it's really a pretty harmless thread. There's some innuendo and lots of joking around. It's the first of it's kind I've seen here on the DIS and I still have to say, after years of surfing the DIS, I've never seen anything on here that I would be afraid of my kids running into.
