Cheeper? As in, "cheep cheep little birdy?" sorry...just woke up, no coffee yet...

they are not THAT expensive, especially now that we can sell our items to other DIS ppl for credits. I had only just under 100,000 credits before I returned to vmk from my hiatus, and with selling my stuff....well, lets just say I wish it was REAL money I could take to the bank! Or to a house in Beverly Hills....a few cars...sigh, dreaming. It's nice.

Five rooms is NOT rich. I have about 20 and it's annoying to have that many...but I need them all! At least I know I can sell them now but I WISH I could trade them...that way my quest rooms won't go to waste holding all my junk i don't use...and someone who needs the room can have it!

not ONLY make it cheaper, MAKE IT EASIER TO ACCESS! LOL. you have to do all these quests to get the magic pins, and im not good at quests at all, so i cant get the silly thing. and i REALLY need to trade some stuff for money...im broke! LOL

Letting us click on things in other peoples room's to see what they are...

Let us click on things in trade and have it tell us what it is....

Let us be able to lock our rooms....

If you're broke and trading your stuff for credits, it's the other person who has to have the quest machine, not you. They set up the one question quest with credits as your prize and you make the trade before or after the credits are exhanged.

Mia, Your practical ideas are right on , I've heard we may be trading rooms soon. The stereo makes me think of Animal Crossing if you're familiar with that from Game Cube or Nintendo DC. Of course noone plays it like the dog.

I love the personal turntables suggestion. I was just thinking about that today! Maybe to make it so it wouldn't slow vmk down, you can only DJ in your own room? That way you won't hear 5 differant songs playing at one time on MainStreet. But it would be so awesome to hold a dance party in your room

I like the music suggestion also.

My pet peeve is my character getting in the way while I'm trying to arrange my furniture...I wish there was a way to lock your character in place so they don't come over and stand on the rug you are trying to move, etc.

I don't know if there is a thread for this or not, and I did not see one, so I thought I would start one. I remember about 6 months or so ago, suggesting to vmk that inventory should be organized to make trading/looking for stuff much easier, and a few other people told me they suggested it also. And hello...they did it! And look at how much easier everything to do with items is now!

I thought we could post some suggestions (and I mean REAL...not silly stuff or things that would never happen). Stuff that if we agreed on, we could maybe actually all send to vmk. You never know: they may listen if the suggestions make sense and enough people tell them!

Here are mine:

PRACTICAL

*we still cannot tell which teleporters match in our inventory. I would love to trade for teleporters, but with no way of being able to tell, I won't take them. I can only carry one set of each rare one around with me for trading, so I know I'm not trading any non-matching sets. I have no clue how this would work in theory, but maybe vmk or someone can figure out a way?

*trading magic: you cannot see how many stars pins are when trading, either yours or the other person's. I'm sure vmk could easily fix this. I was cheated when sworn to that a pin I was being traded was 3 stars. It was only one, and of course she deleted me and bounced, never to be seen again. I also accidentally traded a five star fireworks, thinking it was a one star one time just b/c I was wearing the wrong pin!

*trading rooms: I'm sure there could be a way to do this. They added that we can SELL our rooms recently, why not trade? All the items in the room could automatically go back into inventory when you trade, like when you sell, and the person would get the empty room. I know that I rarely use one of my HM conservatory and pirate cannon rooms: and I know so many people want these rooms. I feel bad that I'm using a pirate room to store teleporters when people are wishing they had the room to decorate!

FUN

*I've said this before. Let us buy turntables, jukeboxes, or stereos (whatever) and play the mixes we have saved in the music game in our rooms! We could either play only our own songs on our own items when we want to throw a party and show off our music, or maybe anyone could play their songs on anyone else's music item. Or....maybe you could CHOOSE if other people are allowed to "DJ" or not. Just like you can choose if non-friends are allowed in your room or not! Maybe if you bought turntables, you could even mix the songs in your room instead of just the music game, and have more than 4 songs. I only play songs (one beat) for credits now, b/c the music game is boring...but in a room it would be fantabulous.
So many awesome party possibilites just from doing that one thing: people could have "concerts"...we have a microphone now, someone could 'sing' along while another person DJ's, and people could form bands with names and invite other's to their concerts! Oh, kids would love that (and so would I!) Only, I don't know if it's technically feasible, or if it would slow down VMK to have people playing songs all over.

Well, those are my ideas for now. Any others? Let's try to come up with some good stuff (especially stuff that makes things easier....practical instead of fun...fun is good but ease of gameplay is better!) Then we can all send in the best ideas! Maybe we could have a poll? I don't know how to set one up. Hmmm.

1. our own clothing designer kiosh, a certain price to make a certain item it would be cool and everybody would have different styles and personalities will show up on vmk players, and also these costumes should be tradeable

I thought of that too. You would have different patterns of clothing to choose from and you could color it anyway you wanted.

Uh..no no. That idea is good and bad. It would make it easier for meeting DIS ppl for trades that you don't know on vmk, but I don't want people that annoy me to be able to find me anywhere. If someone is annoying or whatever, I like being able to remove them and them not find me.

I would like (sorry if anyone has said this...I only read first 2 pages) more than 150 friends. Now I'm starting to have to delete ppl and I don't like that. Most people on my list are DIS or actually people I still talk to, so it's hard when I make new friends to find someone to delete! We don't have a limit on people we know in life...imagine: meeting a cool person but you can't get their phone # or see them again unless you cut out all contact with someone you already know!

Isn't this the point of VMK? To create interest in Disney so people will visit the parks? It's all about generating revenue.
