Suggestions to avoid getting banned for entering codes

Well I am most likely to earn a bann today. I earned alot of codes this morning and now Iprobably will get banned but me and my friend are going to ask if it is alright to enter the codes we already earned. Besides tehre is that bug with the prize screen which they could fix but won't. If they actually fixed it then tehre wouldn't be this problem.

really help the tech lacking and explain how to get bulk codes without having to keep plundering. PLEASE help me....

Not that I expect to get a response, I just fired off a message to VMK in the banned section to detail the issue further. Right now, knowing from experience how these things work, there is a basic counter system which monitors this stuff against time. The answer to it all and was in my suggestion to VMK, is to just reset the variables based on something realistic. It can't take more than 10 minutes for their best "typer" to enter as many codes as possible manually and then use that as the mark. Sometimes it is the things that are the most obvious, which end up being overlooked. I just hope they hear the complaints and figure out a way to fix this.

To keep gettin codesnwithout plundering you have to
1. Finish the game
2. Click VMK Collectibles(Remember to write this code down)
3. Click screensaver or desktop
4. Click VMK Colletibles again
5. Repeat Step 3 and 4 for more.
It should give you another code. Keep doing this until you feel like you have enough.

To answer specificly how many and how i was entering the codes if it will assist anyone in determining the what triggers this. I gather about 45 at a time on a page and print it, I use 14 Courier new font in bold so it is uniform and easy to read. It would take me all day to read my own writing. I then stand in my room and hand enter the things. In 12 hours I entered exactly 160 codes spaced out through that time.

Obviously the longer you do it the faster you get so I am sure it was gaining speed. Part of the problem is many time the system backlogged the codes but I kept going. Then the system accepted the codes like a minute later but several at once might go through. I think this is where the problem came from. Maybe I can type one code every 30 second but if it accepts 3 of them at a time it thinks there is a problem.

I agree stop entering codes cave to their threats for which we have no recourse or control over if carried out.

I have plenty of mules and will now creat one specificly at work that all future codes will be entered on at that revolving address. I understand how the programs they alleged work I have however never used them in any capacity for anything in my life nor am I studying a way to use them.

If they want to solve the problem, they should look at the problem not the results of the problem they created. They are not being proactive in the proper way. They need to rebuild the program to do what they want instead of putting out fires and blaming us, their guests who are now wondering why it is we are drawn to disney and their products.

I totally agree that VMK has flipped out with this "warning" people for entering too many codes, or for entering them too fast. They should have foreseen that people would repeatedly play and enter mass amounts of codes for the pirate costume. I don't know what the limits/quotas are that earns somebody a warning -- does anybody?

Yesterday I also got caught up in the quest for the pirate costume, and entered mass amounts of codes. I started out putting the loot in storage rooms. Then I started selling each item as soon as I coded it in. Then I went back to my store rooms and took most of the items out and sold them, thinking the 50 credits sell-back might be reduced soon. I didn't get a warning, and am not sure why I didn't. Here's how I did the "coding" -- I don't know if this is a prescription to prevent a ban, and don't guarantee anything. Who knows, maybe I will be next after I log on VMK today and code for the pirate costume again. Just my two cents on what worked for me yesterday.

I have two monitors set up on my computer. Don't ask me how to do it, my son worked it all out for me lol! Anyway, I have VMK up on one monitor, and the pirate game up on the other. I put my character in one of my storage rooms. I DO NOT place her in a public area of VMK. I play the pirate game using the shortcut to get the codes. When a code appears for the pirate game, I just input it right then on my VMK character. I get another code, then input that. No having to write down any codes or copy and paste into a word document. I used the codes as soon as I got them. I deliberately slowed down my typing speed. When the codes failed to work anymore, I switched to a different storage room and start inputing them again. The most codes I inputed at one time was around 25. Then I would take a break, visit other public areas of VMK, go do housework, laundry, real life stuff, etc. I assume this same system would work by just resizing the two windows on just one monitor.

After VMK closed last night, I did stay up and got a couple hundred more codes and DID copy and paste them into a word document. I'll trying entering them slowly today, maybe 10-20 at a time, as I won't have the delay between codes I had yesterday. I guess I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope I don't get the "warning."

i have been entering codes without playing the game..... jw, could i get banned for it?

Well, I hope they get this cleared up soon. It's absurd to tell people to "Collect all 5!" when they're given out at random and then NOT expect everyone to play over and over and over and enter code after code? Well DUH.

On a different note, am I the only one who is continually amused by the phrase, "Jack would like to see you in his quarters. Shall you join him?" Uhhhh....well, YEAH. That's a no-brainer. ;) :lovestruc

just something i suppose is that maybe VMK pal is doing all this
luckily i never download ANYTHING off the computer ::yes::
i dont type codes in fast thats my tip
VMK Pal doing it? Okay... How would a program ban you? Besides, I don't think too many people on DIS use it anyways. I do, and nothing bad (other than things that are completely at my fault) has ever happened.

LOL. You are not the only one Diznygrl. :lovestruc

WHAT?! People are getting banned for typing in codes?!

Stitch, people get banned for entering codes too quickly, or often. I, as a general rule, only use mules for codes, several of them. since they put in the whole "Shortkeys" rule, I keep at least 20 seconds between codes (between the time that the message pops up telling me I have "won" and entering the next code. What I ahve been doing mostly, is using 4 or 5 codes per mule during a credit run, and then logging into a different mule. I currently have about 800 codes still left to enter though. It is more time consuming to enter the silly code than it is to get them. I can get over 20 codes a minute. I am going to be entering these for a long, long time.
