Suggestions please!!

Hi everyone!

I just found out that dh needs me to drive him to the Orlando airport this weekend to catch a flight, so I decided to book a hotel for me and dd (3) so we won't have to drive back too late. It's going to be an impromtu 2 day visit for the two of us

We have FL resident AP's but obviously can't use them during the summer. I'm looking for some suggestions for some fun Disney things we can do that don't require park admission. I was thinking maybe a character meal (at a resort, not a park) might be fun. Or maybe the Fantasia Mini Golf...but is she too young for that? I've never done it before.

What do you think? Any other ideas??

Oh, by the way....which character meal would you recommend? We've only ever done Chef Mickey's and the Princess dinner at Epcot.

My DD was almost 3 when we took her mini-golfing for the 1st time. She enjoyed the first 2 or 3 holes but was bored by the time DH and myself finished. Don't know how close to 4 your DD is, there is a world of difference from an almost 3 to a almost 4 yr old.
Last time I went to 1900 Park Fair was 4 years ago- but I enjoyed that for a character meal.
You could always try out the Boardwalk.

Thanks so much for the replies!

My dd turned 3 at the end of March, so she is still kind of on the younger side. She is pretty good with structured activities so I'm thinking it would hold her interest, but I wasn't sure if she would be able to play as she is so small. But if she can do it, I think she would love it!
We did the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique just last month when we were there and she loved that. But I wanted to try to come up with some other things that we haven't done before.
Anyone else?

Fort Wilderness - movie and campfire (maybe too young) Don't they have a petting zoo?
