Suggestions on where to stay for Tinkerbell in Janurary

I need some suggestions of where to stay for the Tinkerbell Half Marathon in January. I really want to stay somewhere close, within walking distance but I don't think most of the places on Harbor qualify? The starting line is over off Disney Drive by Downtown Disney. We can't afford to stay onsite for the time we will be there (4 nights/5 days) but I was thinking maybe staying the night before at one of the onsite hotels but wasn't sure which one as I've never stayed in any of them before. We will be on a somewhat budget since we just spent 6 days there and spent A LOT of money! We have 3 kids so space has to be a consideration (15 year old, 12 year old, and a 4 year old). Thanks in advance for any help!

We just came back from running in the Disneyland Half marathon, and we stayed at the Del Sol Inn onn Harbor. It is right next door and kind of tucked back in next to the Desert Inn Suites...so very easy access to walk to downtown disney for the race. The rooms were clean and spacious, but very basic. We only slept in them, so it was fine for us...I have another trip booked for december and have gotten a special wiht them for $57 a night, so you might check them out...they do have a pool and a very basic continental breakfast as well... was a very quiet place that we definitly will stay at again.
