Suggestions on a baby sling

Thanks to the OP for asking - we are also looking into this and are due in 10 weeks.

Does anyone have shoulder problems/pain that can provide any suggestions on slings? Due to the job and computer work I have a muscle in my right shoulder that tends to cramp and if not caught pulls my neck out of alignment (thank heavens for my chiro) so I am worried about a sling causing issues?

It's almost easier to tell you what to avoid. You want a carrier that sits the baby's weight on your hips and something that is a 2 shoulder carry. Like a wrap, mei tai, or soft structured carrier.

A supportive well fitting carrier will be good to your body and will balance the weight better than carrying baby just in your arms.

I loved, loved, loved my Hotsling for the newborn stage, and then the Ergo for the toddler stage.

Congrats on the new babies!

I like my kangaroo korner adjustable fleece pouch (kkafp).
I'm on the lookout for a breathable cotton ring sling, though. As much as I adore the kkafp, it can get warm if I'm in the direct sun for a long period of time in the summertime.
I also have a toddlerhawk.
I love baby slings and carriers ;)
