suggestions needed please

hi everyone
we are planning an intimate wedding at either sunset pointe or the yatch club gazeebo but i am not sure where to go and have our wedding dinner at either of these locations and also what we could do after dinner can anyone give me some suggestions please and also it will be just us 2 and our 2 boys who will be 15 and 11

I assume that you are wanting to wear your wedding attire to dinner...

Well, if you do Sunset Point, how about Ohana's or one of the Grand Floridian restaurants for dinner? And then depending on your budget, you could do a Wishes cruise afterwards!

For the Yacht Club, there's the Yachtsman Steakhouse...or one of the Boardwalk restaurants. And again, you could do a fireworks cruise, but this time for Illuminations!

No matter what you decide, I'm sure you'll have a magical time!

We're having our vow renewal at Sunset Pointe, followed by dinner at 1900 Park Fare (Grand Floridian) and then a Wishes fireworks cruise. We are going to serve our wedding cake and champagne on the wishes cruise.

is the grand floridan easy to get to from both locations? and how do i go about booking one of those cruises they sound just perfect and i'm sure the boys would enjoy the cruise

Personally i prefer the Illuminations cruise as you can hear the music - the wishes cruise is really good too - but no music!

Congrats on your wedding!

After our ceremony at Sea Breeze Point (on the boardwalk) we went on an Illuminations Cruise (with our wedding party) and then over to Yachtmen's Steakhouse for dinner (just me and DH).

thank you for your input i had a look at the link and i am thinking i could pick the yatch club gazebo and do the breathless cruise from there it's just so hard to decide where and what to pick i am swaying towards the yatch club to get married because it's in a rose garden and i just love roses and the colour pink it's just soo romantic and i'll definately feel like i'm in heaven

I just wanted to say congratulations on your wedding....I was also debating between the two wedding sites and finally decided on Sunset Pointe. The ceremony is at 1:00, but I'm still deciding on what to do afterward. The illuminations cruise sounds great though....we'll definitely have to keep it in mind.

The Yachtclub Gazeebo is beautiful. You wouldn't be disappointed there, especially if you like roses. Sunset Pointe is pretty too, if you're into the tropical feel.

If you're going to book the Illuminations Cruise, there is an art to doing it. I'm sure the link above will address fully. You need to be one of the first to call on the first day it's open for booking. It's the same for the Wishes cruises, too, I believe.

Not to sound too cliché-ish, but having seen all of the sites in person, none of them is a bad choice. Disney goes out of its way to make each of them beautiful for the ceremony.

i do like sunset pointe aswell it looks lovely but there is something about the yatch club location as well, must be those roses
