Suggestions for trusting TA for best cruise prices

I know this pops up from time to time, but I can't find the thread and after reading through 20+ pages and not being successful in searches, I know I could use your help.

Starting to plan an August 2006 trip, besides DU or AAA, which other TA have been used for best prices that you can trust?

Personally, I've used The Mouse for Less and got a great price. Others that I've seen mentioned favorably are: Costco, Midcan, All Seas Travel and Small World Vacations.

I would suggest getting quotes from all and then going witth the Cheapest

I've found that cruisecompete.com ended up as cheap as when I did all the work myself but much easier! they send you several quotes of companies bidding for your business !! check it out!

I ended up checking over two dozen TAs, both online and via phone. I was looking for 5 staterooms and needed numbers for several configurations because no one in my group knew what they were going to need very early on. By far the best price I had found was at Cruise Vacation Center (http://www.cruisevacationcenter.com/ ).

My MIL had used them for a previous cruise and had a good experience so I was fine with using someone I personally hadn't heard of. We got our booking info immediately and Disney showed our initial ressie within hours.

After getting several suggestions and hearing such good things about Dana at MicDan (and the fact that she did indeed quote me the lowest price) we are using her.

She is VERY nice, incredibly bubbly and really does take your trip "under her wing". She has been incredible.

I've talked to her as well. She is wonderful and very knowledgeable at that! She just couldn't give us the best price... but if she does for your date I would feel very comfortable with her! Enjoy your cruise!
