(anonymous) Snorer in a party of two. Seeking a hotel convenient to WDW for three nights (Oct 2nd, departing 5th) with separate sleeping/living area (e.g queen bed & sofa) that can be isolated by a door, sandbags, bricks, etc. Nothing extravagant, clean and quiet, if such a thing exists.

Thanks!

Assuming you each want separate sleeping areas (unless those sandbags are to go down the middle of the bed), I would suggest a 2BR timeshare villa at any of the fine properties nearby. A 1BR suite means one person is generally stuck on an uncomfortable sofa bed. You would be surprised at how little the price difference is between 1 and 2BR units; money well spent IMO.

Take a look at any of Marriott Palms resorts, Sheraton Vistana Resort, Hilton Grand Vacation Tuscany or Park Soleil, or perennial DIS favorite Wyndham Bonnett Creek. For 3 nights you would be booking as a hotel stay (timeshare stays are usually a full week) through the hotel booking site (most expensive way), but compare that cost to the cost of booking a week through timeshare channels and just abandoning the nights you don't need.

Residence Inn in Lake Buena Vista. You can get a bedroom with a door and a living room with a sleeper sofa. Also, available at a higher price is a 2 bedroom suite separated by the living room; so, you have distance between you. You get 2 baths, too.

By the way I use ear plugs and it does the trick for me. You may have to hunt down the right pair that will work for you. I can't even hear the alarm clock with the ones I wear.
